Supporting the local community
A Busy Few Weeks for the LNK Team
Paul and Nic have been incredibly active lately, giving back to two charities that hold a special place in their hearts: Bury Hospice and The Frost Charitable Foundation, raising an impressive £30,000!
Ladies' Day Success
Nicola completed her hat trick at Sedgley Park Rugby Club by organising their annual Ladies Day for the third consecutive year. This year, the chosen charity was to sponsor a breast cancer nurse at Bury Hospice. As patrons of the hospice, we are always eager to support in any way possible. The day was fantastic, with all the girls in top form, and a wonderful time was had by everyone! A generous donation of £5,000 was raised for the hospice.
Dragon Boat Race
Saturday morning kicked off early with the Dragon Boat Race for Bury Hospice at Elton Reservoir. Our first race was against our good friends from Business Lodge, starting at 10am. It was an absolute thriller, and we secured our first victory! Unfortunately, we weren't as lucky in race two, but we still celebrated two wins out of three - just shy of making the final. However, our team remains in pole position with sponsorship funds raised, totalling an amazing £2,830, helping the hospice exceed their goal of £10,000 for the day!
Frost Foundation Bellagio Ball
The evening event was a night of glitz and glamour at the Frost Foundation Bellagio Ball in Manchester, which always promises a fabulous time! This year's event was perhaps the best yet. After months of preparation, my fellow trustees and I were ready to host a ball fit for royalty. The venue was stunning, the staff went above and beyond, and the food and entertainment were exceptional. The generosity in the room was heartwarming, culminating in an incredible total of £22,000 raised. We are overwhelmed with pride and joy.
Heartfelt Thanks
Paul and I want to express our gratitude to all our family and friends who have supported our chosen charities over the past few weeks. Giving back is something we cherish, and we know that every penny raised helps improve the lives of others. The support we've received, alongside the thousands of pounds raised together, is truly awesome, and we feel blessed and humbled. Of course, the success of these events relies on your continued support, so thank you once again! Paul & Nicola Campbell
We're extremely proud to be based in the thriving market town of Bury and wherever we can, we work with local businesses.
We've built strong relationships with MOT and service centres, bodyshops, auto electricians and tyre suppliers in the area, along with the wider business community.
We're passionate about supporting local good causes, schools and organisations. We've adopted Bury Hospice and The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity as our company charities.
Over the past year, we've held two huge fundraisers - The Gin'gel Belle Ball at Sedgley Park Rugby Club, attended by L N K customers and local business leaders. It featured sing-a-longs, a ballroom dancing display and Robbie Williams impersonator Daniel Lowry.
Co-founder Paul Campbell also took part in Bury Hospice's "Strictly Best Foot Forward 2018". Partnered with Natalie Rogers of Lavender Hotels, the due spent the 12 weeks in the run-up to the event tirelessly rehearsing dance routines ahead of a glittering dance show.
Between the Gin'gle Belle Ball and Strictly, L N K has raised over £10,000 for Bury Hospice and have been presented with 2 love hearts in the Hospice to say thanks
LNK Motors, Bury - So what do the initials stand for? Well to most of our family and friends this is probably fairly obvious ... The letters are the first initial to the girls in family - Lauryn, Nicola & Kaitlyn our business is not just named after the family - family is everything to our business. Paul & his wife Nicola have worked together for over 15 years in car sales over the years there has been a roller coaster of highs and lows but the values and the one thing that gets them motivated in the morning is family, and friends. The support over the years has been nothing short than amazing "We feel very lucky and appreciate every thing and every one around us!" And the only way to repay some of the love is to pay back hence the reason we strive each year to support some of the little clubs and facilities in our local area. Both Charity and Community is the key to making a difference !! Supporting one another, kindness and giving is most certainly top of our agenda.
When you buy from a small family run business you really do make a difference.
We are the current kit sponsor for East Lancashire Paper Mill Cricket Club, and have previously sponsored the kit for Unsworth Junior Football Club - Have a pitch side hoarding at Unsworth Cricket Club, Sedgley Park Rugby Club & Pike Fold Golf Club.
Over the years we have supported The Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity, Bury Hospice and The Frost Foundation
We Thank You for your continued support !!
